Ingredients
- Palm nut paste
- Tuna/Salmon or meat of your choice
- Fresh tomatoes
- Onions
- Pepper
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Seasoning
- Salt
- Fresh okra (Optional)
- Method
- Blend the onion, ginger, and garlic. Meanwhile mix palm nut paste with water and
bring to a boil for about 5 minutes on the side. - In a large saucepan, transfer meat, add onion mixture, salt, and other spices.
- Add your fresh tomatoes, onions and peppers.
- Steam meat over medium heat for 4- 7 minutes, take tomatoes, onions and pepper
out blend until smooth, add tomatoes mixer to steamed meat. - Add water depending on the thickness you want.
- At this point add palm nut paste mixer to meat, stir and taste for salt. Bring it to a
boil for 10 minutes. - Add your smoked/ salt fish, okra and allow to cook.
- Serve with Fufu or Rice balls
NOTE: Make sure to strain the palm nut paste mixer before adding to the steamed
meat.
